It’s a Sprint: Games Leaving PlayStation Plus November 2025 Edition

Like a Dragon: Ishin! by Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio

Did you rent a lot of video games growing up?

We had two video stores in my hometown–niether were part of a chain, but they were still good for occasionally grabbing Uniracers or Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure. Sadly, their stock never made it past PlayStation long boxes and the Nintendo 64 launch lineup (seriously, they had well-loved copies of Bio-F.R.E.A.K.S and Blast Corps).

In case you were curious, F.R.E.A.K.S. is an acronym for flying robotic enhanced armored killing synthoids. The more you know.

It’s easy to argue that things are “better” now–we no longer need to keep our fingers crossed hoping a specific game will be on the shelves or constantly calling some poor employee waiting for it to be returned. However we have lost some of the excitement that came with weighing the pros and cons of what to bring home for a weekend.

Shout-out to GameFly who have found themselves more relevant than ever in a world of 70 dollar new releases. Is anyone at GameFly reading this? Are you looking to sponsor a small, silly gaming blog? My contact form is open…

I feel kinda bad reporting doom and gloom on the Game Pass side of things while over here I’m waxing poetic and reveling in nostalgia (but not really, Microsoft repeatedly does this to themself). Now all Sony needs to do is offer their first-party titles on day one to easily take the crown for best subscription service.

But who am I kidding? That will never happen. We don’t even have access to Helldivers 2 or Astro Bot, yet.

Here is everything scheduled to leave PlayStation Plus next month that we know of, so far.

October 15th marked the one year anniversary of Tactical Reload and to celebrate I published my (very long) list of favorite games. You can find it in the features tab.

We have a couple events coming up (another indie horror showcase presented by DreadXP and the MIX on the 23rd while Limited Run is holding one on the 29th). I expect Keighley to announce his Game Award nominations soon after that. I’ll probably predict the winners like I did last year (I’ll do my best to make them less than 16 pages this go around).

Thanks for reading! I won’t keep you any longer–go grind on all those games that just released.
