It’s a Sprint: Games Leaving PlayStation Plus July 2025 Edition

I don’t regret choosing to cover this event season the way that I have, but some strategizing will need to be done before next year–assuming the world isn’t a smoldering crater next year, of course. The issue is I genuinely believe that all artistic endeavors deserve to find their audience–which usually translates to me writing about 24 games instead of 18. Now multiply this for every show from every publisher. 

You get it. 

The good news is with the way I’ve been simultaneously working on this set of articles, I can finally see the (dying) light at the end of the tunnel. My goal is to finish wrapping up by this time next week. How will I celebrate accomplishing a task of this magnitude? Maybe I’ll finally play video games again.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion

I’m going to have some tough decisions to make. 

Remnant 2 has been on my list for a long time (I believe it recently left Game Pass, so I’ve already talked about this a little bit), but now that I have an interest in the DLC as well, it might just be better to pick up the whole package later on. 

That leaves Crisis Core (an RPG) and Dying Light 2 (an open world zombie game). Should I just play both? It’s been a while since I’ve shrugged off sleep (willingly) and marathoned something. I’ll report back next month if I decide to go through with it. 

In addition to covering every showcase to come out of SGF, Tactical Reload will get back to regularly posting interviews soon. I have two coming (one is probably up as you read this) and I’ve been eyeing a few other peculiar (and frankly, awesome) projects that deserve your attention. Learning more about people who make things and their process is one of the reasons I started this site. Stay tuned.
