It’s a Sprint: Games Leaving Game Pass May 15th 2026 Edition

Planet of Lana by Wishfully

Literally as I was posting the last It’s a Sprint, Microsoft announced even more changes are coming to Game Pass. I chose not to cover it in that article because I assumed there’d be red tape and fine print to pick through over the coming days.

Nope!

It turns out it really is as simple as a price cut in exchange for losing day one access to new Call of Duty titles. This honestly feels like a fair compromise. I have other ways to play Call of Duty if I get the urge – and admittedly, that urge is not strong coming off the release of Black Ops 7. I’ll just put it this way, the uproar over these changes in my corner of the internet has been minimal. The Xbox logo is green again and that goes a long way.

Here’s what’s currently scheduled to leave the service in mid-May.

It’s self promo time again!

Last Monday, Monster Theater announced that we’re publishing Solace Creek! It’s a retro survival horror title with run and hide gameplay set inside a strange, dreamlike facility. There’s an updated demo on Steam, and if you’re into the spooky and strange (and who are we kidding, if you’re here, you are), you should check it out. Every wishlist helps.

What should I do for my birthday in a few weeks? I’m open to any and all suggestions.
