It’s a Sprint: Games Leaving Game Pass March 15th 2026 Edition
He is Coming by Chronocle, Chronocle AB, and Hooded Horse
There’s been more upheaval at Microsoft since the last It’s a Sprint. It’s been a bad, recurring pattern in these updates. I wish I could say I’m surprised.
CEO of Microsoft Gaming and the face of Xbox, Phil Spencer (not Blinx the Time Sweeper), has announced his retirement. Asha Sharma, formerly President of Microsoft’s CoreAI, is set to replace him. Of course, this has triggered some red flags. It’s possible that she’s a climber and sees this as an opportunity to make a splash (I don’t mean this in a derogatory way, I’m also a climber so I get it). I tend to think of myself as an optimist in situations such as these, but saying you have a background in AI in 2026, an industry that will be extinct in the next five years and will hopefully take its supporters with it, carries the same prestige as being an NFT expert or having a really neat Pog collection. She doesn’t deserve harassment, but she also doesn’t deserve an ounce of goodwill until we see what sort of leader she is and what direction she’s going to take the company.
I would love to be wrong. I would love for Xbox to thrive again.
As with all things, I guess we’ll see.
Here’s everything scheduled to leave Game Pass in mid March.

We’re already approaching the end of Q1–do you have a game of the year, yet? What are you most looking forward to? Most importantly of all, will my copy of Resident Evil arrive before everything gets spoiled?
