It’s a Sprint: Games Leaving Game Pass June 15th 2025 Edition
Isonzo by BlackMill Games and M2H
There we were, minding our own business, preparing for the tsunami of game reveals, when Xbox decided to drop 2024 GOTY contender Metaphor: ReFantazio and To a T in our laps (the latter is the newest title from the creator of Katamari). It’s these little surprises that continue to make Game Pass the best value in the business. That’s not an ad, believe it or not (Microsoft, my contact page is right there and I’m very open to the idea of being sponsored).
Are you going to take the plunge and play Metaphor? Beginning something of that scope on a subscriptions service can be intimidating, but if you start now, you might even finish before this time next year.
Anyway, here’s everything scheduled to leave the service in the next two weeks:

I would describe most of this group as an acquired taste.
Dordogne is one of the most visually stunning things I’ve ever played–but I can’t really recommend it. Hypnospace Outlaw is also a fascinating experiment, but unless you grew up alongside the internet (the Wild West days of the internet), I imagine it’ll lose its charm.
You probably are better off playing Metaphor, after all.
It’s most likely going to be the busiest week at Tactical Reload since I founded the site. Summer Game Fest is this week and I’m going to attempt to cover more games than any other outlet. It isn’t exactly a contest, of course…
…but I still want to win.
That’s all I’ve got, for now. Go watch the press conferences and discover some new small (and strange) games.
